Ahead of the KPMG keynote at the YAVICA Annual Conference 2025, we spoke with Iain Fox, Partner & Digital Platforms Lead at KPMG UK, about the collaboration, the rise of Agentic enterprise applications, and what it takes to make change stick.
From one project to long-term collaboration
The relationship between KPMG and YAVICA is built on more than successful delivery; it is rooted in a shared long-term vision. “We’ve got this joint view on where the industry is going, and we’re building towards that future, not reacting to the past,” says Iain Fox, Partner & Digital Platforms Lead at KPMG UK.
“We’re going to market with YAVICA in the UK because we believe in the product, but also in the people,” Iain says. “We want to be seen as being a partner, not a supplier. We're going to go through the journey shoulder to shoulder with them.”

FlexProperty fills the industry gap
KPMG has long worked with Microsoft Dynamics 365, but when it comes to real estate, something more is needed. “You’ve got Dynamics 365, which is a brilliant enterprise suite. But what FlexProperty does is close the industry gap,” Iain explains. “It gives clients a single source of truth and allows them to start trusting their data.”
From deposits and indexation to service charges and cash flow forecasting, YAVICA’s solution brings all the operational and financial pieces together. “You get that full revenue cycle, and the level of control our clients need.”
Agentic AI is already here
The keynote at this year’s conference, “Future of Enterprise Applications in the Agentic World”, will explore how Microsoft’s platform is evolving from automation to augmentation and, eventually, autonomy. According to Iain, these capabilities are no longer theoretical.
“Agentic AI is something we’re already working with today. It’s a journey from automation to augmentation to autonomy, and we’ll be showing real working agents in the session.”
The examples include a Tenant Experience Agent, which monitors satisfaction and suggests actions, and a Lease Management Agent that tracks renewals and deadlines.
Transformation is about people, not just platforms
Even the most powerful technology can fall flat without the right approach to change. That is why KPMG’s methodology is designed to engage stakeholders early and make change real at every level.
“Too often, people feel change is being done to them, not with them. That’s where projects start to fail,” Iain says. “The businesses that do this really well bring people along early. They create clarity around the roadmap and build change readiness into every phase.”
A message to real estate leaders

“The move to intelligent systems is inevitable, but to get value from it, businesses have to start thinking differently, especially when it comes to their data.”
