Central-Eastern European Real Estate Group, NEPI Rockcastle, Signs Contract with Danish Yavica

Press Release 11-04-22

The Danish real estate software supplier will help the real estate leading developer company Nepi Rockcastle to run its shopping centers, located in nine Central-Eastern European countries.

Software provider Yavica, who develops solutions for property development and operations, is now taking another significant international market share in the real estate sector.

The Copenhagen-based company, counting 80 employees, has grown largely on international customers and will now also provide software solutions to NEPI Rockcastle, the largest investor and developer of shopping centers in Central and Eastern Europe. The company has 400 employees, and operates 52 commercial centers in Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Serbia and Lithuania.

Digitizing processes

“Shopping centers in these countries are not yet characterized by as much online shopping as in Denmark; it’s still based on physical customer visits to a large extent. One of the key important factors for Nepi Rockcastle is digitizing more processes and achieving integration of data across all core processes. This will give NEPI Rockcastle new insights and automatize several otherwise time-consuming tasks for them”, says Mads Pihl Sørensen, CEO of Yavica.

Through this collaboration, NEPI Rockcastle aims to achieve an integration of data across the company’s core processes, such as: leasing, budget and forecasting, procurement, enterprise resource planning (ERP), financial reporting.

Yavica’s real estate software is based on Microsoft’s Dynamics platform. It is developed for 45 countries in 43 languages, making it ideal for a wide range of international real estate portfolio companies such as Nepi Rockcastle.

Yavica already has real estate clients who develop and operate shopping malls in most European countries, and the company’s customer base and experience helped convince NEPI Rockcastle that Yavica was the right partner.

“I strongly consider that digitization can no longer be seen as a stand-alone solution, so we have integrated it in the company’s business strategy and is one of our main priorities, being able to bring NEPI Rockcastle a strong advantage on the real estate market. Our partnership with Yavica will help us increase the digitization degree and to reach a true breakthrough, that is the data integration of our most important processes. This achievement will make us more adaptable and prepared to offer our tenants and clients the best services”, concludes Oana Laza, Chief Digital Office, NEPI Rockcastle.
